Aurelio de Laurentis revealed that his club had received an offer from Manchester United to sell defender Calido Coulibale for £ 95 million.
"The former boss of United, Jose Mourinho, wanted Coulibaly and we have already declined an offer of 95 million pounds," Napoli told the Sun newspaper.
"But now it's impossible to sell Coulibaly after Mourinho's dismissal."
The English newspaper revealed in a report that some United officials went to Anfield stadium to follow Liverpool and Naples in the Champions League to watch Coulibaly.
The goal was to follow the player and how to play against the English teams and that the defender appears although Senegal has made his follower want to join him in resolving the Red Devils' defense crises.
Chelsea tried several times to include Coulibaly before his arrival at Mauricio Sari and after his arrival, but the Italian club refused to sell him categorically.
