Two US researchers have recommended that contact lenses be followed with extreme care when handling these lenses.

In their study, published in the annual issue of the medical journal "Analys of Emergency Medicine", researchers advised contact lens wearers to meet daily and long-term sterilization standards and to change used lenses in time to avoid any corneal infection.
