Cristiano Ronaldo, Juventus' top scorer, has proposed the sale of his five-room palace in Manchester, a decision that could undermine Manchester United's hopes of returning to Old Trafford.
Ronaldo, 33, bought this magnificent palace in the Cheshire area in 2006, at the height of its heyday, led by Sir Alex Ferguson.
Ronaldo offered the palace £ 3.25 million, including a large pool, sauna, steam room, gymnasium, cinema and games room, reported the Daily Mail.
If Ronaldo got a palace buyer at that price, he would have lost it because he had bought it for £ 3.85 million 12 years ago.
This is not the first time Ronaldo has been trying to sell the palace in 2009, when he leaves Old Trafford to join Real Madrid.
Since then he has been hired by Manchester United defender Luke Shaw after joining Southampton in 2014.
According to the Sun newspaper, Ronaldo's left-back would have paid out 7,000 pounds a month, but the attacker now wants to get rid of him completely.
The palace is located in the prestigious Alderely Edge, which is home to many Manchester United and City players.
