The Moroccan national football team has maintained its position in the ranking of FIFA, 40th in the world, according to the ranking published Thursday.
FIFA ranked the Atlas Lions in third place in Africa, preceded by Senegal and Tunisia respectively. Their international rankings were 23 and 26.
Belgium remains at the top of the FIFA rankings, with a point ahead of France, champion of the 2018 Russia World Cup. Brazil finishes third and Croatia fourth.
The top 10 has not seen any change since last November, with England remaining fifth, Portugal sixth and Uruguay seventh.
Switzerland, Spain and Denmark also continued to occupy the eighth, ninth and tenth positions with the new rankings, respectively.
