Abdul Ilah Al-Amri claimed defeat of Al-Faisaly in the Saudi championship on behalf of the players, thus eliminating any responsibility of new coach Ahmed Hossam Mido.
Mido led his first match as a unit coach, but ended up losing 0-3 against Faisali in the 14th round of the Saudi championship.
"We did not have the concentration needed and we made a lot of mistakes," said Al-Omari to Dory Plus after the game, "we hope to change the situation for the next games."
Added: "The coach has not shortened his presence with us, it is true that he is a new coach, but we are the ones who bear the errors."
"We did not apply some of the things that Mido had requested, but it's his first game and the next one will be better," he said.
"A goal in the first minute makes mistakes," he said.
Al Wahda is sixth with 21 points after his third consecutive loss.
