A group of researchers from the University of Cambridge in the UK has unveiled a new treatment for blood cancer from drops for eye treatment that heals retinal vascular disease.
According to the Daily Star's website, research group leader George Vasilio has confirmed that drops of eye treatment could stop the spread of myeloid leukemia, known as acute leukemia, without affecting healthy cells. The droplets are still in the testing phase to target the gene that can prevent the spread of this type of dangerous cancer, resulting in the deaths of many patients.
