Brian May, a famous guitarist and co-founder of the Queen group, is preparing to release a song about an American space probe that oversees a space invasion record.
On the first day of the New Year, the spacecraft steals the New Horizons in a space crime called Oltima Tulle, about 1.6 billion kilometers from the Pluto dwarf in the Kuiper belt, at the end of the group . Solar.
No probe has ever flown in such a vast territory.
A NASA scientist asked the famous British astrophysicist to write a song for the occasion.
Brian May, 71, co-star of the Queen's Foundation, Freddie Mercury, has released a song called New Horizons, the first song he has sung solo since 1998.
"The combination of astronomy and music was an interesting challenge," he said in a statement. "It's the farthest thing that a human probe is exploring."
In a section of the song, the voice of the late astronomer Stephen Hawking is heard on the background of a musical played by Brian May on guitar.
Brian has published a clip of the song on his website.
