The pyramids decided to cut the services of Palestinian player Danny Shaheen because the team did not need him.
"We broke the contract with the player by mutual agreement, the technical staff does not depend on him," he told reporters, Ibrahim Hassan, director of football at Pyramids.
Shaheen, born in Donetsk, Ukraine, only took 51 minutes with Pyramids this season.
The 29-year-old left Roda to travel to the Pyramids in July on a free transfer.
Shaheen, of Palestinian origin, has Ukrainian and German nationality and played for the team of young Germans.
The striker wore several club jerseys, including Hamburg, Dinamo Dresden, Fortuna Düsseldorf and Mainz.
