Mysterious Universe's scientific site revealed that researchers had discovered a unique scintillating planet covered with precious stones.
"The planet is officially known as HD219134b and is 21 light-years from Earth in the constellation Cassiopeia," says the Swiss University of Zurich who oversaw the study.
"The planet looks like a red sapphire or a blue sapphire because these are the most common aluminum oxides on a planet outside of the solar system," said Carolyn Dorn, astronomer at the Institute of Plants. Computational Sciences of the University of Zurich.
According to astronomers, unlike the Earth, it probably does not have a large nucleus, but it is rich in calcium and aluminum, suggesting that the planet is covered with precious stones.
The mass of the planet is almost five times larger than the mass of the Earth and is called "Super Earth".
The University of Zurich was founded on April 29, 1833 and was the first university in Europe to be created by the state, comprising seven faculties and many disciplines.
