Mohammed Mohsen Abu Greisha, general manager of Ismaili, said his team had achieved the desired goal of tackling Cameroonian cotton in the 32nd African Champions League.
Ismaili has qualified for the group stage with a 2-1 loss to Cameroon after winning 2-0 at Ismailia.
"We were able to increase the goals, the players were affected by the atmosphere and the stress," Abu Greisha said in a press release.
"There have also been victims, such as Christopher Mendonja, goalkeeper Mohammed Fawzi and defender Mahmoud Metwally."

The Ismaili are in last place in the league, but have qualified for the group stage for the first time since 2009.
