Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Dubai Vice President and Ruler Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum congratulated Real Madrid on the 2018 FIFA Club World Cup after defeating Al Ain 4-1 also sent a letter of thanks to the "leader" for arriving at a "new summit".

Al Ain became the first UAE and Arab team in Asia to reach the final of the Club World Cup, a feat despite the defeat of the final with a heavy result.
For its part, Real won its fourth tournament title after beating Al Ain 4-0 for one goal, becoming the biggest team in the title after breaking the partnership with their traditional rivals, Barcelona.
