Zakaria Al-Sayed, vice president of ENPI, confirmed that management would not be embarrassed by Hamdi Fathi's move to Al-Ahli in January.
"The door is open for Hamdi's transition to Al Ahli, with a million per cent assurance on technical requirements," he told Radio On Sport.
"Ahli asked to sign the player early in the season, but we decided to postpone the decision until the contract with a good replacement in January, national or foreign."
"If we find an alternative, we will negotiate with Al Ahli on the financial counterpart.The technical needs of the team are more important than any gain in marketing."
The vice president has hinted that one of his players, Mohamed "Mido" Jaber or Amr Barakat, could be the subject of an exchange agreement with Ahli.
For its part, Zacarias al-Sayyid has denied having negotiated with Enby membership to Essam El Hadary or Bassem Morsi from next month.
