Sport Mediaset announced on Monday that Chelsea and AC Milan have agreed to sign a heavyweight exchange contract on the winter transfer market.
As part of the deal, striker Alvaro Morata is expected to be transferred from Chelsea to Milan and Argentina's Gonzalo Higuain should be transferred from the Rossoneri to the Blues.
The Italian network reported that Higuain was playing with Milan on a loan from Juventus, which requires the approval of the "Bianconeri" to finalize the contract.
Chelsea is ready to trade players for six months. Higuain will definitely be signed by Juventus after the end of his loan for Milan next summer.
Italy coach Mauricio Sari insists on reinforcing the "Blues" with a world-class striker, Murata being down.
Higuain has already played under the colors of Sari in Naples and the Argentinean striker has played spectacularly with the team from southern Italy.
