Triplex combination to treat pancreatic cancer

Scientists at the Johns Hopkins Cancer Center have created an "ideal blend" that can eliminate pancreatic cancer. Scientists say that if pancreatic cancer is present, there is a lack of immune T cells, which must identify and eliminate cancer cells.

Today, scientists have identified three drugs to form a perfect combination for the treatment of pancreatic cancer. The researchers say the combination consists of PancVAX, an antibody-enhancing product with anti-PD-1 and OX40 antibody control. After the tests, an increase in the immune response and an increase in the number of T lymphocytes were observed. Trials should begin clinical trials on patients next year.
