Oman keeper Ali Al Habsi has suspended Al Hilal goalkeeper and his team for being excluded from the Nations Cup Asia because of an injury.
Al-Habsi began talking about the exclusion of the Omani team, citing the words of God Almighty: "And you could hate something good for you."
"The injury period is one of the most difficult times for a football player," he said.
"My confidence in my teammates allows me to achieve my ambitions," said Habsi.
Oman coach Pem Verbeek has ruled out Al Habsi, who is on the list of Asian Nations Cup participants, to be hosted by the UAE as of Jan. 5.
The goalkeeper of Al-Hilal was ruled out because of the injury he suffered. Medical tests revealed that he was suffering from a rupture of the muscle of the left thigh and that he needed three weeks to recover.
Al-Habsi was injured during the match against Al-Hilal ahead of Al-Ahli, qualified in the Egyptian team Abdullah Al-Saeed and Mohammed Abdul Shafi, in the Saudi Clasico championship, which ended in the fall of "Al-Raki" 4/3.
The Omani team will participate in the Group F Asian Cup, alongside Uzbekistan, Japan and Turkmenistan.
Allah says (interpretation of meaning):
The injury period is one of the most difficult psychological periods on the feeling of a football player, not to mention the fact that you are deprived of injury from the national participation eagerly awaited by all.
