The Frenchman Kélien Mbabé has been named French footballer of the year by the French magazine Football.
The French magazine said Mbabi beat the trio Antoine Grizman (Atletico Madrid), Rafael Faran (Real Madrid) and Nigolo Canti (Chelsea) in the jury's vote.
Grizman won the trophy in 2016, while Kanti was crowned last year, before Paris Saint-Germain beat them this year and won the title of French player of the year.
The quarterfinals (Grizmann-Farnant-Kanti-Mbabé) took part in the final of the Coupe de France and the Parisian player seemed to be the best young player in the World Cup.
The 19-year-old joined his team to advance to the knockout stages of the Champions League.
