Argentinean player Lionel Messi has sparked controversy among his supporters after the publication of a photo of his wife Antonella, posted on his Instagram website, where she appeared wearing a Mayonna Bikini in a swimming pool in her home town of Rosario.

Messi posted the photo without commenting and examined his new finger on his left foot. The tattoos bore a football picture and a jersey number with Barcelona and Argentina.

It was not the first picture of the Argentinian at Christmas, accompanied by his family: the flea appeared on a picture of his wife and children dressed in Christmas clothes.

Messi married his girlfriend Antonella Rococo last year and they have three children, the eldest of whom is Tiago, six, Matteo, three, and Chiro, nine months old.
