Tunisian Vice President Magdi Khleifi said he was part of an African Champions League group with Ismaili, stressing that "all chances are equal".
Isma's ili signed in the third group with the presence of Mazembe, Afro-Tunisian sportsman and Algerian. (Know all groups in Africa)
"No team can be nominated for another group," said the African vice president.
"The stakes are equal for all teams to reach the next round of the championship," he said in a speech on the official website of Ismaili.
"I was waiting to be with Ismaili in the same group before the start of the draw.All teams are strong and enjoy great popularity in Arab and African countries."
Ismaili will begin his group stage in Mazembe on January 11th and 12th.
In the second round, Ismaili will welcome his Afro-Tunisian counterpart at home, before finishing the first round at home against the Algerian club Constantine.
