West Ham won Thursday night an impressive 2-1 win at Southampton at St Marys Stadium, ending the 19th round of the English Premier League.
Southampton was the first to join Nathan Redmond in the 50th minute, following a West Ham goalkeeper rebound.
However, Brazil's Felipe Anderson managed to clear West Ham in the 53rd minute with a powerful shot that the Southampton goalkeeper had failed to take.
The same player came back to score the Hammers second goal in the 59th minute, after being separated by Southampton, to pay them to the goalkeeper's right.
West Ham advanced to 27 points in ninth place, while Southampton, who finished with 15 points in 16th place, was on the Premier League table with 51 points.
