Star Africa, Mohamed Salah and the Egyptian Liverpool have chosen the best Arab player in Africa, in 2018.
Mohamed Salah defeated Algerian Reza Mehrez, Manchester City, Tunisian Wahbi Al-Khazri and Frenchman Saint Etienne, Moroccan Hakim Ziash and Dutch club Ajax Amsterdam for the title.
Mohamed Salah won the BBC African Player of the Year Award in 2018 and the best player in the English League for the 2017-2018 season by the sponsor of the competition, the Association of Professional Players and the Critics League, alongside the top scorer of the English Premier League "Golden Shoe" and the best player of Liverpool last season by choosing fans and players.
Mohammed Salah finished third in the FIFA World Player of the Year list and sixth in the French football magazine with the best Arab achievement in the history of the Golden Ball award and the Africa's best achievement since 2009. Mohamed Salah is third in the European Football Federation (UEFA) on the European Footballer's Ranking for the year 2018.
