Arabic BBC:
Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola said his team should accept the fact that Liverpool, their rival in the English Premier League, may well be "the best team in the world" at the moment.
Guardiola's comments came after his Premier League match of 20 games, which ended in a 3-1 win over Southampton.
Manchester City will face Liverpool on Thursday in a Premier League match.
"The problem is that the other side is great," Guardiola told the BBC. "Maybe he is the best team in Europe or the world".
City lost twice in December against Crystal Palace and Leicester City, while Liverpool won all seven league games.
Liverpool won their last match against Arsenal with a 5-0 win over London.
If Liverpool wins their next game against Manchester City, he will maintain his 10-point gap and will greatly contribute to winning the missing title since 1990.
For his part, City captain and defender Vincent Kompany said that facing Liverpool was a "game for everyone".
"We have suffered humiliating losses in recent weeks, but we can play and reach our goal."
