LONDON (Reuters) – Arsenal have recovered from the English Premier League thanks to a 4-1 home victory against Fulham on Tuesday.
Earlier in the day, Leicester had won a valuable victory from Everton 1-0
At Emirates Stadium, Arsenal has recovered after a humiliating defeat at Liverpool on Saturday.
The first half ended on Arsenal who took the lead in the 25th minute.
Ten minutes into the second half, Frenchman Alexandre Lacazette added a second goal to Arsenal, but Frenchman Aboubacar Camara responded with a goal against Fulham in the 69th minute.
Aaron Ramsay scored Arsenal's third goal in the 79th minute, before Gabon Pieriemeric Obamyang finished in the 82nd minute.
Obamyang was the top scorer in the Premier League with 14 goals, one ahead of Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah and Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
The win brought Arsenal 41 points in fifth place and Fulham lost 14 points in the 19th.
At Goodison Park, striker Jimmy Farde scored the winning goal for Leicester in the 58th minute.
Leicester advanced to 31 points in seventh place and Everton to 27 points in 10th.
