During dieting, frequent hunger warnings, often false, are used to fight hunger. Some people often resort to eating too much, resulting in an increase in the number of calories.

The Center of Nutrition Center Le Cald in Beirut recommends the following people to fight against hunger while following a diet:

1. It is recommended to have a healthy and nutritious breakfast, noting that the selection of components of this meal in unbalanced insulin increases during the day.

Missing this morning meal also makes you hungry all day.

2. It is advisable to get enough sleep, as opposed to a few hours of sleep disturbing the hormones of appetite.

When the body feels tired, leptin levels, produced by fat cells controlling appetite, decrease as the levels of ghrelin, hormone-stimulating hormone, increase!

Therefore, nutritious foods that provide energy, such as fruits, complex carbohydrates and proteins, are best when you are not sleeping enough.

3. Drink a glass of cold water when you are hungry, which will give you fullness after ten minutes.

4. After a full exercise, the hunger crisis is consumed by the consumption of complex carbohydrates, such as brown rice, whole grains or protein, such as grilled chicken slices or lean meat .

5. The food is well chewed, noting that the speed with which the contents of the meal are eaten causes the feeling of hunger soon after the emptiness.
