Negotiations between Inter Milan and Mauro Icardi are still underway to reach an agreement on the renewal of the contract with the Nerazzurri.
According to the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, Inter Milan offered ICARDA an annual salary of 7 million euros, but his wife and agent, Wanda Nara, refused.
The newspaper pointed out that Wanda had stipulated to the management of Inter Milan that her husband was receiving an annual salary of up to 9 million euros.
According to the report, the other crisis hampering negotiations is the penalty clause in the 110 million euro contract, when Inter Milan wants to remove this condition, while Wanda wants to keep it or raise it with the new contract.
