Researchers say that soft and sugary drinks are the most dangerous for the kidneys because people who drink them regularly are at a 61% higher risk, and their findings revealed that an excess of tea was also related to risk of kidney failure.
The study found that sugars in soft drinks and soft drinks can lead to weight gain, high blood pressure and insulin resistance over time, which can exert progressive pressure on the kidneys and help accelerate the loss of this vital organ.
The Johns Hopkins study examined alcohol consumption data from 3003 African American men and women in the United States, who are more likely to have kidney disease of Caucasian origin.
Sugar and soft drinks are one of the leading causes of kidney damage, similar to smoking, high blood pressure, diabetes and lack of exercise, reported the Daily Mail.
