KUWAIT, Jan. 6 (KUNA) – Dr Khaled Al-Saleh of Kuwait said on Sunday that the Chronic Disease and Early Detection Cancer Clinic has been under treatment since it reopened last March.
Al-Saleh said in a statement to the Kuwaiti News Agency (KUNA) that the clinic, opened in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the Falcon Specialist Center, was very popular to learn about cancer prevention in general and training in self-examination to investigate breast cancer.
He explained that the clinic, which was launched in 2016, will continue to operate during the coming period by pre-booking and will receive cases on Sunday and Tuesday of each week in the evening from 5 to 8 days except holidays and holidays.
Dr. Nadia Al-Mahmoud, a family medicine consultant, said in a similar statement that one of the clinic's goals was to raise public awareness of how to prevent cancer and encourage people to do early detection. because of its importance for improving the cure rate.
Al-Mahmoud added that the clinic also aimed to correct some people's misconceptions and encourage a healthy lifestyle, exercise, anti-smoking and obesity.
