The Egyptian delegation in Dakar, the Senegalese capital, distributed its official logo to guests of the African Football Confederation (CAF) to urge members of the Executive Bureau to vote for the Egyptian Cup of Nations file. Africa nations next summer.
The slogan of the Egyptian delegation distributed to members included "Your vote for 7,000 years of civilization", in reference to the Egyptian record, which competes with South Africa.
The delegation of the football federation led by engineer Hany Abu Reda and a presidential delegation led by Mohamed Kamel were responsible for promoting the Egyptian dossier before Wednesday's official vote.
