The first handball aims for a strong performance in the World Cup, which should start today, Thursday, January 10 in Germany and Denmark and will continue until January 27 of the same month.
The handball team went to Denmark, where the Pharaohs are part of Group F, preparing for their first meeting against Sweden on Friday.
David Davies, the artistic director of the Pharaohs, was accompanied by 18 players, including seven players from Ahli, Mohamed Essam Al Tayyar, Omar Al Wakil, Abdul Rahman Faisal, Islam Hassan, Ahmed Khairy, Ibrahim Al Masry and Omar Hajaj.
The list included six players from Zamalek, namely Karim Ayman, Yahya Al-Daraa, Ahmed Al-Ahmar, Yahya Khaled, Akram Yousry and Wissam Samy Nawar.
The list also included Karim Hendawi, Turkey's Besiktas professional goalkeeper, Mohamed Sanad of Nimes of France, Ali Zain of Sharjah of the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed Mamdouh Hashim of Montpellier, and Mohamed Jamal of Al Jazeera.
