LONDON (Reuters) – Chelsea has responded to Barcelona's bid to recruit Brazilian winger Willian during the current transfer.

Barcelona offered Willian in January to transfer his Malcolm Malcolm to Stamford Bridge for an additional fee.

The newspaper "Telegraaf" says that the British club has rejected Barcelona's offer to recover Wilyan, noting that the English club does not think to do without his services.

Chelsea are looking to strengthen their team as their young English striker, Calum Hodson-Oduy, moves to Bayern Munich during the current transfer.

Italian coach Mauricio Sari relies mainly on Willian, which makes him reluctant to give up his services in any way possible.

Willian's contract with Chelsea expires at the end of next season, allowing him to sign up with any team during the next winter transfer period and join his team for free the following summer.

Barcelona has tried to sign Willian during the summer transfer period for 55 million pounds, but Chelsea is holding, the Catalan club has used the integration of Malcolm de Bordeaux for 38 million pounds sterling.
