Saudi Arabia has qualified for the 2019 Asian Cup final by beating Lebanon 2-0 at Al Maktoum Stadium in Dubai in the second round of the fifth group.
The Saudi team, with four previous titles, won its second consecutive victory to secure its place in the third round at worst.
Fahad Al Mouloud opened the scoring for Saudi Arabia in the 13th minute with a mighty powerful shot from within Lebanon's penalty box, bringing his goal goal to the championship to two goals.
Lebanon attempted to threaten Saudi Arabia's goal in the first period by stalling, but Mohamed Al Owais, the goalkeeper of the green, has not been tested in real terms.
In the second half, Hussein Al-Mekhoi added Saudi Arabia's second goal in the 67th minute, after a spectacular Hutton Pahbari center, one of the stars.
Saudi Arabia climbed to six points in Group V to qualify for the seventh qualifying round for the second round after: United Arab Emirates, Jordan, China, South Korea, Iran and Iraq.
While Lebanon remained without points, it did not lose hope of qualifying, either as the second card of the group with Saudi Arabia, or among the top 4 teams with a third place.
Lebanon's record remains undefeated throughout the history of its participation in the Asian Cup, losing 3 matches and making two draws.
