Qatar sails to North Korea and qualifies for the Asian Cup

Qatar have qualified for the knockout stages of the Asian Cup in the UAE after beating North Korea 6-0 on Sunday in the second round of Group E matches.

Qatar's Al-Moez Ali Abdullah, who scored four goals (Super Hattrick), is credited with the win.

Qatar won the first half of the season after scoring three goals before adding three more in the second half.

Al-Moez Ali scored the first and second goals of Al-Anabi in the 9th and 11th minutes and Boualem Khoukhi scored the third goal in the 43rd minute.

In the second half, Al-Moez Ali scored Qatar's fourth and fifth goals in the 55th and 60th minutes and Abdul Karim Hassan secured the sixth goal in the 68th minute.

Al-Moez is the top scorer in the AFC Asian Cup with five goals, two more than his closest rival, Sardar Izmoun, who has three goals.

The Qatar team raised their score to six points to lead Group E with a goal difference from Saudi Arabia.

Lebanon and North Korea are favorites without any points.

The final round of the group stage will be crucial to identify the top five in Group Five when the Qatari team will meet Saudi Arabia on Thursday.

Qatar started its continental championship with a 2-0 win over Lebanon, while North Korea sided 4-0 against Saudi Arabia in the first round.
The first attack came two minutes into the match with a powerful shot from Boualem Khoukhi shot out of the box but the ball went close to the Korean goal.

Al-Annabi had a new chance after Abdul Aziz Hatem cleverly penetrated Korea's defenses before sending a defense shot to Hassan Al-Heidos in front of goal, but he slowed down and the Korean defense intervened and took the ball into a corner.

Ten minutes into the second period, Al-Moez Ali scored his third goal and Qatar's fourth after a long pass behind the Korean defenses. He completely separated from the goal and made a superb shot from goalkeeper to goal.

Al-Moez won the title of "super hat-trick" in the 60th minute by scoring his fourth goal and fifth for his country after receiving a pass from Akram Afif and shot a powerful ball with his left foot known for his way to the net.

The 68th minute came to Qatar's sixth goal by Abdul Karim Hassan after a great penetration into the Korean defenses before pouring his left foot into the net.

Despite six advances, Qatar's attempts to attack did not stop in search of new goals, but the team lacked precision in the final touch.

There was nothing new in the final minutes to close the match with the victory of half a dozen goals from the Qatar team.
