Qatar won its first victory at the expense of Egypt at the World Handball Championships.

The Pharaohs lost to their opponent 22-28 in the second round of the group stage.

Egypt lost for the second consecutive game after losing to Sweden in the opening match.

Egypt will play Argentina in the third round of the group stage on Monday.
