NASA warned that an asteroid weighing 87 million tonnes could collide with the planet and cause a life change as we know it.
The asteroid "Pino", which he described as "asteroid on the day of resurrection" when he collided with the Earth, would result in a collision energy equivalent to 80,000 times the Energy caused by the bombing of the nuclear bomb launched on the city of Hiroshima in Japan in August 1945, Arab News ".
NASA said the asteroid had a length of 500 feet, which means it was longer than the Empire State Building and weighed more than 1664 times the weight of the Titanic.
NASA scientists said the collision of the asteroid with the Earth would kill millions of people, not to mention the direct effects on millions of others.
But NASA scientists said that it was not necessary now to start preparing for the event or soon, as this would not happen before the next century.
According to scientists, there is a chance of 2700 asteroid collisions on the planet between 2175 and 2199.
NASA has sent the Osiris Rex probe into orbit around the asteroid where it will perform a reconnaissance mission before landing on its surface in 2020.
The probe must take samples of the asteroid, and then return to Earth in the hope of discovering the origin of human existence.
Scientists believe that the asteroid will help prove the theory that billions of years ago, asteroids collided with Earth and transported the chemicals needed for life to become a reality.
