Los Angeles Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has ridiculed Cristiano Ronaldo of Juventus for his recent comments.
During the summer transfer period, Ronaldo joined Juventus for 100 million euros, after nine years at Real Madrid since joining the club in 2009.
Ronaldo called his Argentinian counterpart Lionel Messi, the Barcelona star, to play in the Italian league as he did, believing that playing Juventus was a challenge for him.
"Cristiano is talking about the challenges, saying that it is a challenge to play for a team accustomed to winning the Italian championship," Ibrahimovic said in comments posted on the Football Italy website.
"A few years ago, playing for Juventus in Serie A was not a challenge and returning to Serie A. Playing for Juventus is not a challenge."
Ibrahimovic played for Juventus between 2004 and 2006 and continued after his relegation to Serie B after the match-fixing scandal, before returning to Serie A the following season.
