Many medical researches have proven to be very beneficial for fasting the health of people with serious or chronic illnesses or transient health symptoms, and most importantly, proven by drugs in early 2019, revealing the effects of positive fasting on cancer patients.
When medical research has shown that fasting greatly helps prevent or treat cancer in an infected person.
According to Medical News Today and Sky News, fasting fights cancer by reducing levels of insulin resistance and inflammation in the body.
The source added that fasting helps combat complications caused by chronic diseases affecting the body, such as: "obesity" and "Type II" diabetes, two leading causes of cancer.
A healthy fast requires not to consume calories for a specified period of time up to a few hours, or only a very small number of them. Fasting makes cancer cells more reactive during chemotherapy, protects healthy cells from the body and strengthens the immune system, say the scientists.
In 2014, the National Library of Medicine conducted an experiment to determine whether fasting promotes resistance to cancer-tested mice and researchers monitored changes in animal stem cells.
The researchers found that "fasting" for two to four days helped the "stem cells" in mice resist the complications caused by chemotherapy for cancer.
In addition, the mice that were fasted could better renew their stem cells, which means that the benefit of fasting is not limited to preventing the deadly disease.
