Al-Ittihad newspaper – The planting of a Chinese vehicle on the moon is over

A cotton plant grown in a Chinese vehicle on the moon was left for dead, the probe entering a dormant state to protect its devices in the cold, cold night on the far side of the moon, scientists said.
The Chinese Space Agency announced a few days ago that the cultivated cotton had grown in the vehicle "Zhang A 4" on the moon, in a special container equipped with air and water.
The vehicle landed on the hidden side of the moon, which does not face Earth, the third day of this month.
The implant has been developed in a structure surrounded by a net and in a system guaranteeing living conditions.
On Thursday, the system stopped as planned after 212 hours of work.
Other species of plants were planted in the pot, but only the cotton plant was grown.
When the system stops working, the temperature drops to 170 degrees below zero.
The lunar night lasts fourteen days.
The implant should not survive with these levels very low, according to Chai Guinqing, the designer of the experiment, quoted by the New China Agency.
The unmanned Chinese spacecraft Chang A4 managed on January 3 to land on the moon, on its hidden side of the Earth, for the first time in the history of the invasion of space.
A few hours later, the Yoto 2 probe was dropped on the surface to be studied.
The hidden side does not appear to the Earth because the Moon during its rotation remains only one face and that the second is blocked.
I have already taken many pictures of this side of the moon. But did not land a vehicle, the first images of this type in 1959 and was taken by a Soviet probe.
This is the second time that China sends a vehicle to explore the moon after the probe "Yoto" (Jade Rabbit) in 2013, which lasted 31 months. But landed on the opposite side of the earth.
The new probe is conducting studies on low waves, mineral resources and the possibility of planting on the moon.
