The Egyptian international Mohammed Salah, the Liverpool star, is eager to make his debut on a legendary list of African football stars having scored 50 goals or more in the Premier League.
Salah will head Liverpool on Saturday when he hosts the Crystal Palace at Anfield at 5 pm, and the Reds are looking to get away from their nearest rivals in Manchester City.
The 26-year-old is currently the top scorer with 14 goals. Tottenham striker Harry Kane is missing from the injury and Arsenal striker Pierre Emeric Obamyang.
Salah was Liverpool's eighth-leading scorer in the English Premier League with 46 goals so far, beating Liverpool legend Ian Rush, who scored 45 Premier League goals with the Reds.
He now has 48 goals in 71 league games, scoring 46 goals for Liverpool and two goals for his former Chelsea team, while waiting for a historic comeback against Crystal Palace.
The Liverpool king needs two goals to reach goal 50 since the beginning of his career at Premerlig, becoming the first Egyptian player and the eighth African player to achieve this feat at the biggest competition in England.
Ivorian Didier Drogba is leading the list of African players who have scored goals in the Premier League, scoring 104 goals in 254 matches with Chelsea since the 2004-05 season (2014-15).
The Senegalese Sadio Mani, a compatriot from Liverpool, is the last African to have scored 50 goals in the Premier League, scoring 31 goals in the Reds and 21 with the former Southampton.

7. Sadio Mani from Senegal – 52 goals in 143 games (Southampton and Liverpool).
