LONDON (Reuters) – Scientists are banking on this mechanism to identify women most susceptible to the disease, based on the analysis of hundreds of genetic markers and their way of life, according to British scientists.

Researchers at the University of Cambridge have developed an automatic calculus method that allows doctors to measure a person's susceptibility to a malignant disease, which Professor Antony Antonio believes to be the first of its kind.

This method analyzes data relating to women such as age, weight and alcohol consumption, and takes into account 300 genetic markers, making it the most accurate in the medical field with respect to the prediction and diagnosis of breast cancer.

Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of death in the UK, with 55,000 new cases each year.

According to a scientist at the British Cancer Research Center, a significant proportion of new infections occur in people at high risk of contracting the disease.

Researchers believe the new method still needs to be tested for use in the near future.
