SHARJAH, March 24 (Reuters)

If you look at the sky Sunday night and the sky is clear, you will witness the total eclipse of the giant bloody wolf moon across the United States.

The total eclipse will start minutes before 5:00 GMT on the east coast of the United States and before 9:00 pm on the west coast of the United States.

The total eclipse will last about an hour and will be better seen in the Americas. The event, which also includes a partial eclipse before and after the total eclipse, will last three and a half hours.

The total eclipses of the moon occur when the moon lends itself to the sun and the earth, giving it a red or bloody color.

The giant moon occurs when the moon is close to Earth and the moon wolf is the traditional name of the moon completed for January, when the howling wolves helped determine the winter.
