Cameroonian referee Sidi Alyoum Nyan, who was leading the Egyptian and Ismaili Egyptian teams in the second round of the African Champions League, decided not to end the match because of the riot.
The Cameroonian referee suspended the match at the Ismailia stadium Friday, a few minutes before the end, because of the riot of supporters of Isma's ili who threw the bottles.
Egyptian Ismaili fans attacked the referee and the board of directors, after Cameroon's Sidi Aleyoum Nyan scored two penalties for the Tuniso-African with a 2-1 record before taking the decision to cancel it.
Cameroon and the match observer must submit a report to the African Union for it to take the appropriate decision.
Ismaili scored with a goal from Benson Shilongo in the eighth minute and Ghazi Ayadi tied for Africa in the 40th minute of a penalty kick before the same player added the second goal at the last minute of the first half-time with a penalty.
