Day seven more

Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo unveiled a tax evasion crisis in Spain after appearing in a court in Madrid this morning after being sentenced to two years in prison with suspended execution and a fine of nearly of 19 million euros.

Ronaldo arrived in Madrid with his friend Georgina Rodríguez to answer charges of tax evasion during his nine years at Real Madrid.

According to the BBC, the prosecution has required the suspended sentence of Cristiano Ronaldo, with a fine of 18.8 million euros, a sentence agreed by the prosecution with the Ministry of Finance, in exchange from the recognition of former Real Madrid and Juventus, the four current crimes. Tax evasion between 2011 and 2014.

Last year, the Portuguese striker reached an agreement with the Spanish authorities to settle the case, in consideration for the payment of the fine and the acceptance of a penalty of 23 months suspended.

But Ronaldo, 33, will not spend time in prison because Spanish law provides that any sentence of less than two years to the first offense can be removed.
