Mohamed Salah, Egyptian star and Liverpool team, has closed his personal account on the social networking sites "Facebook" and "Twitter".
"The 2019 resolution is the time for true communication," Salah said Tuesday.
Mohammed Salah did not announce why he had closed his personal account and his account on Instagram still works normally.
Mohamed Salah leads Liverpool to the top of the English Premier League after 23 games with 60 points and four points against defending champion Manchester City.
Salah is on the top scorer with 16 goals, two goals behind Tottenham striker Harry Kane and Arsenal striker Pierre Obamyang.
Liverpool faces Leicester at Anfield on Wednesday.
