LONDON (Reuters) – Manchester City has qualified for the final of the English League Cup after winning 1-0 at second division club Burten Albion on Wednesday.
Argentine striker Sergio Aguero scored in the 26th minute.
City played the game with nerves completely calm, having adjusted his training qualification since the first meeting, which ended in a 9-0 win.
Manchester City, aiming for the sixth time in its history and a second in a row, is awaiting the final of the semifinal between Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea.
The two teams are gearing up for the second leg on Thursday at Chelsea stronghold Stamford Bridge with Tottenham's 1-0 win over Tottenham.
