Microsoft plans to stop support for Windows 10 phones in December. While the company announced in 2017, it was,

No longer developing new features or new devices for the Windows 10 Mobile operating system, but continues to send security updates and software.
These security updates will expire on December 10, 2019 and devices will no longer be supported after that date.
"Version 1709 (released October 2017) will be the latest version of Windows 10 Mobile and Microsoft will fully support the support of this operating system on December 10, 2019."
Microsoft now recommends users to switch to other operating systems, Android or iOS. With the end of the Windows 10 Mobile operating system support by the Internet giant in December, the device backup for the settings and some applications will continue to run for 3 months, up to the end of the month. as of March 10, 2020.
