Borussia Dortmund strengthened their Bundesliga spot with a 3-1 home win against Hannover 5-0 on Saturday in the Bundesliga.
In other matches, Hoffenheim beat Freiburg 4-2, Bayer Leverkusen 3-0, VfL Wolfsburg 2-0 and Borussia Moenchengladbach 2-0 at home against Augsburg.
At the Edna Park stadium, the first half ended with Dortmund scoring the goal of Moroccan goalkeeper Ashraf Hakimi in the 24th minute.
In the second half, Dortmund hit hard and scored three goals with Marco Ruiz, Mario Gautze and Rafael Guerrero in the 60th, 62nd and 67th minutes.
Marvin Balaklorz scored Hannover's only goal four minutes from time.
In the closing seconds of the match, Axel Vittel scored the fifth goal for Dortmund.
The victory lifted Dortmund's lead to 48 points, nine points lower than Bayern Munich, who escaped Sunday in Stuttgart.
Hannover's score was 11 points to stay 17th.
Hoffenheim took the win 4-0 at Freiburg with 28 points in sixth place and 21 points in Friborg in 13th position.
Joelayunton Casio de Lira scored a goal for Hoffenheim in the 19th minute and Andrade Karamaric added the second and third goals in the 59th and 72nd minutes, before Karim Demirebay finished in the 85th minute.
Lucas Houllier and Florian Niederlichener scored in Freiburg on the 42nd and 77th minutes.
Münchengladbach was third with a 2-1 victory over Ojsborg in the 78th and 90th minutes.
With this victory, Gladbach reached 39 points in third place and Ugeborg 15 points in 15th place.
Mainz beat Nuremberg 2-1 to go from 27 points to 10 and Nuremberg stayed in last place with 11 points.
Daniel Brusinski (penalty) and Robin Cayson scored two goals in the 12th and 73rd minutes and George Margherter scored the only goal for Nuremberg in the 43rd minute.
Leverkusen beat VfL Wolfsburg 3-0 with a penalty from Kevin Haverz, Kevin Fuland and Julien Brandt in the 45th, 62nd and 88th minutes.
The victory allowed Leverkusen to reach 27 points in ninth place and Wolfsburg was eliminated at 28 points in eighth place.
