LONDON (Reuters) – Scottish coach Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed his opinion of the best footballer in history after comparing many sports and sports sites between Argentineans Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi.
The former Manchester United manager commented on the interview of reporter Hugh McFlane and Liverpool legend Gram Sonis, Jonathan Northcroft, who chose Maradona while Messi took him for him.
Ferguson said: "Messi, it's better, because the march of his countryman Maradona lasted very few years," according to the British newspaper "Daily Mail".
"Messi's greatness is due to his long years on the throne of the best and has been at the top of his career for years, while Maradona's achievements have been limited for a short time."
Maradona had already led his country to the World Cup in 1986, while Messi had still not managed anything with the Tango team.
