Dutchman Martin Jol was close to Saudi leader Ahly Jeddah after the recent deterioration of the team.
The Saudi newspaper Okaz revealed the beginning of negotiations between the Jeddah-based administration and Martin Yol.
Ahly was the last club headed by the Dutchman Jules from February 2016 for six months.
