Apple has canceled some Facebook developer privileges after publishing a report stating that the management of Blue Web was paying users to download an application to collect user data.
A spokesman for Apple said Wednesday at CNBC that Facebook had violated its policies by distributing a consumer data collection application. Apple has therefore canceled the business certificates authorizing Facebook to distribute an activity tracking application to users. .
The Veredge website cited an unnamed source who reportedly said that early versions of Facebook, Entragam, Messenger and other beta applications had stopped working, as well as other functional applications.
