Facebook paid for teens to spy on them

Facebook has secretly paid up to $ 20 a month to teens and youth to install the Facebook Research App, which gives the company the ability to monitor their phones and their online business, according to TechCrunch .

The website indicates that the company started this procedure since 2016 and targeted people aged 13 to 35 and asked them to install the application on devices using Android and iOS systems.

Facebook also asked them to send photos of their apps to the Amazon website for research purposes.

Facebook said it would stop the application on iPhone devices after a report revealed that this could go against Apple's data collection policies, but would remain effective on Android devices.
