Zamalek has announced its solidarity with Pyramid's request to refuse any league match before Al Ahly finishes his deferred matches.
"We are going to play the stars game, then they will stand in solidarity with the Turki Al-Sheikh Malik pyramids," said Zamalek's president.
"Al Ahli has to play every game in the first round, with the Cup in the round of 16 against Pyramids before finishing the league games."
Al Ahli has two games postponed from the first round, against Enppi and Zamalek.
Pyramids has issued an official statement threatening to resort to the International Football Federation if all first-round matches in the Egyptian Premier League are not over for all teams and if the date of the 16th Cup matches is announced. (Read the statement)
"It's inconceivable for the pyramids to finish their matches with Al Ahly and Al Ahly so far not to play for Zamalek in the first round," said Turki Al-Sheikh, owner of Pyramids and president of the Arab Federation of football. (Read his comments)
